Groups and Field Trips
Garden Patch Farms and Orchard hosts numerous church gatherings, school functions, office outings and daycare trips. We will be happy to guide your group through the apple orchard or any of our various fruit patches to make your trip fun and informative.
Just pick the date and time, and let Garden Patch Farms help you plan your activity to fit your group. Field trips include hayrack rides and fruit picking, and children can feed the chickens, visit our bunny house, find a perfect pumpkin, and more. Don't forget your camera!
Field Trips
Field trips are available only
on Monday through Friday (no weekends).
Each field trip includes:
- hayrack ride to the field
- a tour of the field
- corn to feed to our hungry chickens
- each guest will receive a fresh fruit, or a small pumpkin on the fall tour
- Information talks available, including food sources, how food gets from the farm to the table, honeybee pollination in the orchard, and more
Cost for field trips is $7 per person, including chaperones, with a $75 minimum per group. To schedule your time and date, email us, or call 708-301-7720.
